Rose HA Harmony [H.A. Technical Solutions, Inc.]

Rose HA Harmony software is designed to let the user build HighAvailability systems for those mission/critical applications where systemdown time cannot be tolerated. HA is designed to run on Sun(TM) SPARC(R)systems running SunOS(TM) 4.0 and on Solaris(R) 1.1 to 2.X. HA alsosupports Solaris X86 running on PC platforms. HA can be configured inany of the following ways:1. One active server and one hot stand-by server.2. Two active servers, each running its own mission criticalapplications, and each functioning as hot back up for the other.3. Two active servers with one hot stand-by server.4. N number of servers with one hot stand-by server.5. N number of servers with each server beuing hot back up for everyother server.HA also has the following list of features:1. Fast detection of systems problems, typically 5 seconds.2. Fast transfer of application to back up server, typically 10 to 120seconds.3. Eases installation, 20 minutes, and supports all Sparc and Solarisfeatures.4. Flexible configuration in terms of number of servers and hot backupconfigurations.5. GUI and text base systems status and history information.6. Servers do not need to be the same model or configurations.7. GDT dialing tool to call programmed list to inform them of systemsproblems when they occur.8. GUI systems administrator tool- just point and click mouse.9. Supports remote monitoring of systems staus.10. Has API hooks so that programs can be written to monitor the healthof the software applications that are mission critical, and running onthe server.
